If you still have not seen it, don't miss The Hidden World by Jim Shaw, the second exhibition of Chalet Society that runs until the 29th of December. As a reminder, The Chalet Society is a project created by Marc-Olivier Wahler designed to encourage new reflection on the contemporary art institution. Its mobile structure endeavours to develop formats that work on a variety of platforms, similarly to software capable of working with any hardware.
You'll find The Hidden World, a huge collection of books, paintings, t-shirts, sculptures, brochures and t-shirts collected by contemporary American Artist Jim Shaw for his inspiration. This will give you a total weird and psychedelic portrait of America exploring cultural codes and communication techniques of Secret societies, far-fetched orders and fraternities, evangelical and fundamentalist movements, New Age spiritualists, Scientologists, Mormons, Freemasons, ultraconservatives and all kinds of conspirators.
