SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
A true collaboration. I was asked by Mr. Shining to take a look at some photos and video and make a film. Given my nature I began to invest my interests on to the images and created a homo-erotic murder mystery and an homage to the French New Wave’s SHOOT THE PIANO PLAYER directed by Truffaut.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Stewart Shining is one of the leading contemporary photographers of top fashion models and pop culture celebrities. Based in NYC, he also serves on the Board of Directors of the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, Inc. and ACRIA, an AIDS research and education foundation based in NYC.
Vincent William Gagliostro is a filmmaker, artist and activist. He began his work in film as the art director for Prince videos, including "Kiss", "Diamonds and Pearls" and "Cream". His installation and short film works have been shown internationally. His political graphics join the collections of the Guggenheim, Victor & Albert, Whitney, Metropolitan Museum, NY Public Library archives. He has also written and will direct his debut feature film "After Louie" in 2014.
