Iris Van Herpen has been awarded both the prestigious Dutch Design Award for fashion and the Golden Eye Award. The collection features flexible 3D-printed garments. The collection 'Voltage' was shown during Paris Fashion Week in January when she collaborated with architect Philip Beesley, Julia Koerner and MIT researcher Neri Oxman. She showed her second ready to wear collection in Paris in October.
