Dear Shaded Viewers,
Tonight Diane and I attended the Damir Doma resort show at Pitti Uomo. The scandalous heat finally subsided by the evening and it was bearable in the gorgeous Corsini gardens where the show was held. Damir showed a splendid, ethereal collection in which the strong graphic elements were offset by the light fabrics. I also liked the subdued color palette and the origami-inspired shoes, which you don't get to see not because I'm cruel, but because it was hard to photograph them in motion and soft light.
