Metallic, geometric, futuristic… These elements were used by Chinese artist Chen Zhou in the fashion film ''Yes!''. Through two similar-looking men's meaningless repetitive behavior, the artist re-interprets the works of cutting-edge designer Xander Zhou from an interesting perspective.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Born in Chongqing, Chen Zhou graduated with a master degree in Traditional Chinese Art from the Sichuan Fine Arts Academy in 2003. As a highly socially engaged artist, he tries to formulate a language to express China’s new reality. He often deals with the modern city he lives in, while thinking about his childhood in the countryside.
