Dear Shaded Viewers,

Designer Maria Oberfrank describes her brand PITOUR as being "perfectly positioned between soberness and exuberance"–and this collection shown last month in Vienna, full of Apollonian graphic details and Dionysian drapey, sensual silhouettes, was exactly that.

For this collection, Oberfrank wanted to capture the atmosphere of summer: sun-drenched landscapes with sparkling colors and flowers.
"The colour scale glows on dresses in a very different mentality," she tells me.
"Colored ribbons divide the body into diagonal fractals, and arrange them
symmetrically. Cut-outs provide current insights and perspectives."
