FILM SYNOPSIS:
When we clean our house, we get to know it intimately. We pet the ceiling, wash the floor and tickle nooks and corners. Designer Marijke Annema made cleaning tools that play with this almost erotic act. Softly lit and sumptuously shot by Thalia de Jong, this film depicts cleaning, not as routine drudgery, but as a lyrical ballet, a sensual pas de deux between cleaner and house.

DIRECTOR'S BIO:
Marijke Annema (1986) is a storyteller in things, as she designs not only a product, but also the use and rituals embedded in it. Thalia de Jong (1986) is a filmmaker that loves design and depicting it in all of its sweet and smart ways. Both Marijke and Thalia studied at Design Academy Eindhoven and work from their studios in Rotterdam.
