SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
The Pageant is a fashion take on the odd world of American Childrens pageants. Based on reality shows like Toddlers and Tiaras it highlight the fake and tacky extravangance of childrens pageants. It was concieved by Chelsea Goldman to highlight her graduate collection for London college of Fashion.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Chelsea Goldman,22, graduated with her BA in Womenswear from London college of Fashion in 2012 and has a foundation degree from Central St.Martins. Chelsea Grew up in New York City and moved to London at the age of 18 to study visual art and womenswear. She interned at both Narciso Rodriguez and Celine, spending a year at the former training in both Paris and London. Her work is mainly based on the appropriation of other cultures and how they can become diluted and changed. She is a womenswear designer who uses film to highlight her collections.
Drew Cox is a South African filmaker currently living in London, where he works asa freelance video director/editor and photographer. He thrives on all asppects of the creative process, writing, directing, shooting, and editing, combing new and old technologies and different media to create exciting and innovative works through all forms of visual culture.
