SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
This season French Haute Coiffure and designer Charlie Le Mindu and London based fashion filmmaker Zoe Hitchen collaborated for the first time, introduced by stylist Anna Trevelyan. In his fashion film, Charlie is flanked by his own Charlie's Angels chorus girls, whilst he combs his quiff and croons to the reimagined beauty-schooldrop out Princess Julia. “Charl 'de Jouy" inspired by the glamorous futurism of the
30s and French classicism. It combines geometric shapes of Art Deco with "Toile de Jouy" fabric samples from the 17 Century.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
London based Fashion Filmmaker, Director and Photographer Zoe Hitchen studied BA (Hons) Design and Art Direction at Manchester Metropolitan University. Hitchen started her career as First Photographic Assistant to Nick Knight, and worked alongside Knight at SHOWstudio.com collaborating on his Fashion Films. Zoe now also works as Fashion Contributing Editor at Hungry Eye Magazine.
