I have to say I'm very happy with my ASVOFF team and our new space in le Marais. After painstakingly going through the program, a few of us went off to the launch of the new issue of CRUSH, the fanzine which this time is all about the 19 year old musician, Lucas Valerdi, the whole issue 8 is dedicated to this obsession. I love the mantra of the magazine, 'It is not Love, it is a CRUSH' and we were all talking about our unanimous crush on Michael Pitt…I wanted him to DJ at ASVOFF but, he did not return my e mail…..
Akiko Hamaoka and Jason Last at Nanashi, he's looking pretty handsone here, no? For someone that is pretty jetlagged.
Nicolas Wagner, the man behind the obsession with Lucas Valerdi…and also CRUSH frequently works with my official CRUSH Miguel Villalobos. Although CRUSH'S are supposed to be a secret, aren't they? But we already documented our CRUSH in an issue a year or so ago. Anyway Graham Tabor is used to everyone being in love with his man.
