Dear Shaded Viewers,
The exhibition comprises over 200 pieces, making it one of the largest retrospective to the artist ever, some of his works have not been on public view since his premature death. Le CENTQUATRE did things on a large scale and presents a selection of Grand Format Haring's Work including giant canvases and massive scultpures. Even more surprising, I went inside the Keith Haring Pop Shop shipped from Tokyo established in a corner of the immense space. I ended up captivated by watching "Keith Haring The Message" by Maripol, a brilliant documentary including interviews of his closed friends Kenny Scharf and Samantha McEwan.
