Going back to its authentic roots and poetic soul, Maison Martin Margiela delivered an alluring menswear collection, where carefully tailored items were balanced with upcycled gems, a Margiela signature. I've been obsessed with fur lately and there was plenty to satisfy me, starting with this amazing poncho, a complete one-off.
Coats were strong as well and I liked the navy-inspired sweaters, made out of vintage wool beanies.
Poetry, craft and imperfection have always been part of the Maison's narrative. The spirit of the Belgian designer -who has shaped an entire generation of fashion lovers- lives on, hidden somewhere behind these walls and mysterious white curtains.
