Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,
I met the Californian jewelry and clothing designer Amy Glenn at a party last week in Paris. I stopped by her Tranoi display two days later to check out her creations. The jewelry is earthy and quietly elegant in its tarnished, wabi-sabi spirit. Glenn cuts out the molds for her rings from Californian redwood, and then casts them in oxidized bronze and silver, which results in subtle textures and subdued colors.
