Pink bunnys with Micky Mouse ears might not be your idea of masculinity, but Rei Kawakubo does not care for conventions. It was a bipolar show; the hardness of the Krautrock soundrack could not be further from the yellow brocade coats, but we have come to expect the unexpected from Comme des Garcons. Did I mention that the second part of the show was mostly done in black? Go figure.
