Dear Shaded Viewers,
Susumu Mukai's exhibition in the Red Bull Space at 12 rue du Mail features skillful graphite pencil drawings, from dinosaurs and monkeys to surrealist figures lost in tropical forests. There were some small sculptural pieces alongside the two dimensional work, I particularly liked the dragon (pictured above). The space has been managed by Red Bull for the past 3 years and is offered as a platform for young artists and designers to showcase their work, guests at the opening this evening were given a retrospective book on the gallery called "12 Mail, A Red Bull Space".
Some of the cupcakes at the opening, they tasted as good as they looked!
