The same could be said of his Galaxy dress, which clients -and many celebrities- went crazy for when it was first shown in 2005. Despite having lived in London for more than two decades, Mouret is undeniably French, displaying an analytical outlook with a flair for sensuality. One of his new design challenges is Robert Clergerie, a prestigious footwear brand, which he joined last year as creative director. In this exclusive interview, he talks about his vision for the French house, being comfortable as a foreigner and why he loves living in London.

His passions are fashion and culture, as well as music and film.
