The above quote is taken from Maison Fin de Saison's spring/summer lookbook. This, combined with their fashion film, provides us with a sense of the overall mood for this season. Appropriately entitled "Black", the capsule collection subtly plays on the theme of androgyny. Loose, silk georgette dresses are weighted with fringing, giving the pieces with an elegant motion when worn. Attention to detail is imperative to the brands ethos, thin white binding outlines organza so sheer it's barely visible. Fabrics such as silk velvet and lambskin give the garments a luxurious feel, with the white adding drama. The London designer's passion for her work is truly visible in this collection.
