This season, Maison Martin Margiela had twisted ladylike chic in mind, putting an emphasis on volume and transparency, two key trends in Paris this week. Wide A-line silhouettes, high-waisted pants and bustier dresses were a leitmotiv, as well as sharply tailored separates, which illustrated the Maison's minimal roots. It was a polished and sleek proposal.
