The brand was launched last year, the brand is impossible to pronounce but what it means is “a shoe by victoria” in old Slavic language. Victoria Andrejeva is the designer behind the brand.
In their first season Rei Kawakubo selected them for the Paris and Tokyo Comme des Garcons Trading Museums as well as Dover Street Market in London. They had a phenomenal sell-through and became the best selling shoe brand.
They are now producing their 3rd collection of hand-made men’s and women’s shoes, bags and accessories. The theme for 2013 is set with abandonment, deserted space, age and texture.
