Dear Diane, dear shaded viewers,
Recently I spoke with a young Italian designer based in Paris, Nunzio del Prete. Nunzio finally managed to make his first full menswear collection.
Nunzio's first collection is inspired by the pajama- linear,soft and oversized pieces with prints that usually come from scarves.
There is the irony of the "matchy matchy" style , although Nunzio told me he suffers from insomnia and the idea to create a collection puts him into a more relaxed state of mind which helps him to sleep.
Another source of inspiration for him was the music of Band of horses, in particular this song..
