A VISIT TO CHRISTOPHE LEMAIRE’S SHOWROOM – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

There's a carefree and playful feeling in Christophe Lemaire's last menswear collection. The French designer uses clothing as an expression of his own values, which are simplicity, timelessness and precision. I loved his outerwear pieces, from roomy trench coats to belted jackets. Lemaire celebrates ease and functionality in his own idiosyncratic way.
