STONE ISLAND 30 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Celebrating 30 years with an impressive exhibition at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Stone Island is a brand that still inspires real devotion among its fans. Created in 1982, the Italian company has made textile research one of its key areas, focusing on great design as well as durability. I loved seeing pieces from the early 80s, which looked pretty timeless.

The exhibition is on until the 7th of July and a beautiful book was printed for the occasion. They both give you a unique insight into the Stone Island universe.
