Dear Shaded Viewers,

I enjoyed meeting Nadya Kotova-Maesen and discovering her new space in Antwerp, called NK Gallery. Nadya has been living in Belgium for 12 years and decided to open a gallery dedicated to contemporary Russian artists. Her first exhibition focuses on the New Academy movement, which reinterprets classical motifs in a completely modern way. Olga Tobreluts and Oleg Maslov were her two choices for this show.

You can view the exhibition until the 23rd of June and the gallery is located on Museumstraat 35, a few steps away from Ann Demeulemeester's store. It opens Wednesdays to Saturdays, from noon to 6pm.

Best,

Philippe
