Dear Shaded Viewers,

I enjoyed La Cambre's show last night, which was packed with energy and exciting ideas. Even though there were only 2 students in 5th Year, I saw some great proposals from 4th Year students, who had their own point of view and strong personalities. An emphasis on cut, structure and elegance were key, as well as a desire to experiment. The 2nd Year students -who opened the show- were dynamic, too.

In 3rd Year -which is dedicated to menswear- Louis Gabriel Nouchi showed a beautiful collection, playing with textures, volumes and handicraft. Despite their sophistication, his pieces had a streetwear edge.

I loved Pablo Henrard's collection in 4th Year. He was inspired by widows and coming out of mourning. His outfits were graphic, sharp and chic.
