Somewhere between Barcelona and Stockholm Fashion Week's my friend and fellow Angeleno, Greg Gorman, asked that I join him in Bologna, Italy for his series of lectures during the Collection Rosini Gutman & OREA MALIA's presentation of Andy Warhol 1960/80 Deeply Superficial.
The famed Photographer and Author, who took the portraits above, participated in a conversation entitled Talk Show with Greg Gorman, where he describes his views on celebrity and art as a "kind of propaganda and art and how they relate in many ways"!
The exhibition at the Orea Malia is open until the 31st of March and the artist newest book, available later this month, is titled 'FRAMED' via Grafiche Damiani Books. The book is a collection of images that Gorman shot for L.A. Eyeworks' celebrity ad campaigns over the course of the last 30 years.
