DISCOVERING MOVE ROMA AT PITTI UOMO – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

When it comes to accessories, Italians deliver the goods. I have a serious weakness for hats and discovered Move Roma at Pitti Uomo this morning. The line is designed by Massimiliano Amicucci and was created in January 2010. Massimiliano has been working with film productions for years and has an atelier in Rome where his hats are produced. These styles were made for the "Sherlock Holmes" film.

Using high-quality materials and traditional techniques, he adds contemporary finishes and treatments to his hats. There were great shapes in felt, leather and wool. A lot of styles were unisex, too.

I loved the one Massimiliano was wearing, but forgot to ask him if it was from the same collection.
