At Burst, an art fair showcasing emerging contemporary artists and galleries taking place in the art deco district of South Beach during Art Basel, spectators discovered what French-Colombian multidisciplinary artists david gil defines as his theory of color.

"Commercially available since the late 1920s, television has become the most common vehicle for advertisement, entertainment and news. With over 250 billion hours of television watched annually, Americans have been diagnosed by media psychologists at the Rutgets University, to exhibit five dependency symptoms to television. Two more than necessary to be categorized as a clinical substance abuse.

In 2000, the phenomenon of reality tv exploded. One year later, the most televised catastrophe in history took place in the most television hooked nation. The US Department of Justice, defending the interest of the law, declared it an Islamic Jihad, which Prophet Muhammad's defiened as a warrior at war with himself.

Just like SMPTE color bars serve as standard engineered guidelines to calibrate the accuracy of color in NTSC monitors. Color Theory is a series of performing paintings equipped with electromechanical circuits and with a continuous 1000 Hz audio tone, intended to question the ownership of the viewers beliefs and the chrominance and luminance of reality."
