Waiting at the KL Hilton for rush hour to end. By Glenn Belverio

Dear Shaded Viewers,

We're staying at the KL Hilton in the Lake Gardens area of Kuala Lumpur. I'm waiting for the traffic snarl of rush hour to end at 10am so I can take a taxi out of the city to visit the Batu Caves. I'm going to need to climb the 272 steps up to the Hindu Temple Cave to burn off all the calories I consumed at the breakfast buffet this morning–I literally ate my way through 7 Asian countries and 3 city states.

The Batu Caves promise manic monkeys leaping from stalactite to stalctite….let's see how that pans out.
