This season Kei Kagami wanted to focus on the texture of the leather as it was an entirely new way for him to proceed. The heels and some of the leathers were coated with fine metal powder by resin and then they were oxidized into a red rust. "I imagined a U-boat which stayed at the bottom of the sea for a long time and it was being revived like a ghost ship." said Kei Kagami.
