Architectural volumes feature in the Albino collection, inspired by the 1958 paintings of surrealist artist, Max Ernest. The technique of frottage ( it is the french word for rubbing) , used by Max Ernst during the Surrealist movement has been applied to the fabrics. As in an Ernst painting, the butterfly is not represented but rather perceived by the irregular brush stokes.
