Angelos Bratis , winner of Who’s Is On Next text Stefania Seoni

Dear Diane, dear shaded viewers,  Angelos Bratis is a young greek designer producing his collection in Italy. The spring summer collection is inspired by the myth of Narcissus.

Narciso
 Narciso , Caravaggio

One day, Narcissus was seen by Echo, a beautiful nymph, and she, too, fell in love with him. Echo had a peculiar curse: Hera, wife of Zeus, had taken away her voice because Echo had assisted Zeus in his romantic liaisons with other nymphs. Echo could not speak, but could only repeat the words of others. So, in spite of her great longing for Narcissus, she could not tell him of her love unless he used the same words first.

The revision of the myth in our  new-cyber world is that people connect and communicate through the web. _8E6918

An cyber romantic  collection, where the skin color interferes with Facebook blue and Narcissus yellow. The natural yarns of hessian and silk juxtaposition with waterproof fabrics in Twitter light blue, held together with elastic threads in bright yellow. Triangle and rhombus are the geometrical shapes that lead the design thread on the mannequin to create seamless dresses, peplum tops, and color blocking skirts.
