Maxime Simoens “Nosferatu” A/H 11/12 Opus 2 Nouvelle Couture

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Maxime Simoens chose Nosferatu as a theme akin to the Director Murnau's film of the same name which was at the crossroads between neo-gothic aesthetics and the expressionist style. The shapes are rounded with dark backgrounds, the sense of geometry reveals his other inspiration, Art Deco. The designer's initials are set in gothic lettering on the bust of separates like jackets or dresses. He draped panels of his pieces inspired by the genius that is Madame Gres.
