The summer solstice may have been a few days ago (and was even commemorated early in Coney Island), but don't forget to celebrate another start-of-summer date. Tomorrow, June 24, is one of the most important and unique holidays on the Swedish calendar: Midsummer. This pagan holiday is all about embracing magic and celebrating life and fertility. And how will this pagan Italian-American be celebrating this auspicious event, you ask? I'll be sipping Kanon Organic Vodka Midsummer Cocktails at a joyous Midsummer's Eve soiree hosted by The Swede Beat in a downtown, outdoor New York location with friends (and produced by Kelly Cutrone's People's Revolution). Yes, it's a private party (sorry, dolls!) but you can still enjoy this refreshing libation on your very own penthouse patio or fire escape, anywhere in the world. How?
