A VISIT TO CACHEMIRE COTON SOIE IN BRUSSELS – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I discovered Cachemire Coton Soie the other day and was seduced by the store concept and its stylish owner, Sophie Helsmoortel. Sophie loves clothes and knows how to communicate her passion. This year, the store celebrated 20 years in business, which is quite an achievement in fashion terms.

Sophie has an eye for detail and quality, buying collections you've often never heard of. She's definitely more into product than brands, even though she introduced many of them to the Belgian market. I loved Yvonne's one-off embroidered t-shirt dresses, which are made in LA.

There were great bags as well. I've been obsessed with animal print lately and a large tote number looked like it could do the job.

Best,
