David Salle
David Salle has not had solo show at Maureen Paley since 2003. Salle is known for defining the post-modern sensibility by combining figuration with an extremely varied pictorial language. His work comes out of a tradition of installation and performance.He has a long standing collaboration with choreographer Karole Armitage, designing sets and costumes for many of her ballets and operas.
