Dear Shaded Viewers.

Yesterday afternoon I had tea with artist/fashion designer Alex Noble at Dalston Superstore in East London. I know Alex from the good old days (and nights) in Shoreditch when smoking was allowed and the party scene was fierce. Since then, Alex has gone a long way.

After his studies at LCF, he worked in the Visual Merchandising and Creative department at Selfridges and then went on to styling and creating bespoke pieces and accessories for stylists such as Nicola Formiccetti, Sarah Richardson and photographers like Mario Testino and Steven Klein. His innovative work has enhanced the style of Lady Gaga, Florence and the Machine and Scissors Sisters and has been featured on covers and editorials for V Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Vogue Homme Japan and Another Man.

While Alex was working as a stylist, he found increasingly difficult to source the props and accessories that he had envisioned. So he went on to create his own pieces and recently he launched his own brand. His successful debut collection
