Dear SHaded Viewers,
Progetto Sorriso nel Mondo is an International Association for the treatment and care of the cranio-facial malformations and deformities in developing countries. Every year it returns to these countries and operates in the same structure at the same time of year thus providing a reference point and a destination of hope for hundreds of people without economic means. My friend Sara Maino went there last week as she does every year and I asked her to bring back some photos for me.
Every year Progetto Sorriso nel Mondo makes three missions in Bangladesh, a mission in Africa (Burundi and Congo) and one in Guatemala. Other projects include building a shelter for street children and a shelter for the children of women prisoners in the jail of Jessore, Bangladesh .
