Dear Shaded Viewers,
One of the most striking and delicate collections I saw in Seoul was Leyii's, making long skirts and soft dresses look fresh and weightless. Working with a color palette of blush, grey, black and white, the designer imagined elegant looks with laser-cut details, evoking the grace and intricacy of flowers. It was a serene and powerful show.
I loved the way the pieces mixed traditional techniques with more contemporary effects.
Best,
Philippe
