Cazwell is well known for his satirical RnB and a long standing sidekick of Amanda Lepore. Over the years the rude-boi rapper has collaborated with the whos who of downtown New York and beyond including Larry Tee, Boy George, David Lachapelle, The Ones, Chris Joss, Peppermint, GoodandEvil, Karl Giant and Lost Daze. In 2010, Cazwell released a new single, "Ice Cream Truck" and the video premiered on YouTube with 1 million views in its first week.
Ruby Goe With the dust still settling from the online buzz of first track 'Built This House' (PopJustice song of the day) and under the management of Raye Cosbert (Amy Winehouse) Ruby Goe is releasing 'Beat Breaking Boy' and premiering it live at Circus. The electro hip-pop was written together with DJ Ammo (Kelis – 4th of July) and DJ Poet (Boom Boom Pow – Black Eyed Peas). Watch this space for big things from Ruby Goe and remember you saw her at Circus first. Other acts who started their careers with Circus PA's and DJ sets before hitting the big time include Robyn, Friendly Fires, The XX and Frankmusik.
TOM STEPHAN is known for his big-room electro sound. On his upcoming Nervous Nightlife release due out in late December, the venerable DJ/producer has expanded even further upon his beefy signature, incorporating tracks from Larry Tee, Mikix The Cat, and Diplo. Stephans upcoming mix also boasts his remix of Major Lazers Keep It Going Louder and a pair of bumpin original tracks, Turn That Shit Up and Lights Out feat. Rowetta with Pete Gleadall. Tom Stephan is ever rising in the international club scene and Circus welcomes him back as an occasional resident to the club night.
JODIE HARSH is the blonde hair and brains behind Circus and an international DJ. A vision in hot pink lipstick with a big box of house and electro tricks, Jodie has played Pacha (Ibiza), Glastonbury Festival, Matter and Ministry of Sound, and toured the world with Manumission. As well as Gatecrasher residencies and an EP in the works, Jodie has also brought back Circus with a vengeance which is now bigger and better than ever before.
KRIS DI ANGELIS is our soon to be legendary resident disc jockey and has become one of THE hottest names to drop in sophisticated dance circles. His incredible musical knowledge and breathtaking technical ability have seen him picked up by the likes of Defected, Space, and Caligula. Meanwhile his own productions and remixes for the likes of Roisin Murphy, Groove Armada, Lily Allen, and Mariah Carey have been hammered the world over not to mention his most recent mix of Kylie Minogues recent single All The Lovers. We are enormously proud!
SCOTTE is performance artist de jour, a modern Leigh Bowery, and a permanent fixture in the Circus troupe. His bizarre, twisted cabaret and intsallations have taken him to Edinburgh, Glastonbury and beyond. Tonight he'll be haunting the lifts!
