CORRIE NIELSEN wins Fashion Fringe 2010

Jhon and winner

Florida born Corrie Nielsen is the 2010 winner of Fashion Fringe. Ex BA at Central St Martins and six years at Vivienne Westwood, where she was working on the Gold Label, helped her gaining decostructing skills and a sense of dramatic shape – with an eye to the costume history – that we find in this awarded collection, "Georgian Satires", inspired by the 18th Century illustrators James Gillray and George Cruickshank. The winner was announced by John Galliano, honorary chair for this year's edition. Winners from the previous years include Basso&Brooke and Erdem.
