Mike Figgis and Rosey Chan
Dear Shaded VIewers,
I wanted to meet Mike Figgis and Rosey Chan today to talk about ASVOFF 3. Rosey will be performing for the opening September 24th at Centre Pompidou and Mike will be screening some of his films while she plays the piano. He's also a member of the ASVOFF 3 jury. I brought Rosey a copy of the latest ZOO Magazine where I did a feature on her. They will be off to Italy soon where Rosey will prepare for her second album. I got a copy of her first which will be released tomorrow world wide on i-tunes and in hard copy in September, Rosey Chan One. I'm listening to it now.
Mike told the funniest story, which I kick myself for not recording, about winning a film award from the blind … Instead of hearing the soundtrack of the film they were given a description of the film by George Bush, need I say more…
