Ilaria and Tomas Saraceno, an artist that opened the Venice Biennale with an installation titled Galaxies Forming along Filaments Like Droplets Along The Strand of a Spider's Web..made of elastic ropes dampened by drops of water which reproduced realistic spider webs was a starting point for the showroom presentation of Ilaria in Milan. A large sphere made out of carbon fibre and elastic explored the spider web architecture together with transparent black lightboxes representing silk yarns in colorful and chaotic laces.
