Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
Last week I was performing as assistant to artist-talk-show-host, Ann-Liv Young, in a scene during our art-performance piece "The Naked Performer" * @ Inkonst, Malmo, Sweden. I wanted to share with you our outfits from the final scene….where we climbed on top of Ikea looking pedestals to create our take on "Action Pants", with 2 audience members cutting out our crotches live, a pair of scissors in hand, connected to contact microphones and the cutting sound resonating through the space. Our "Action pants" are a VERY inspired/homage to VALIE EXPORT's "Action Pants: Genital Panic"
