MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA F/W 10 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Maison Martin Margiela is now officially back on the fashion map, after a couple of weird seasons. Renewing with the house's core values of conceptualism, innovation and wit, the collection had some great looks, ranging from the ultimate, oversized snakeskin biker jacket to sharp, androgynous tailored pieces and fluffy furs. I loved the rich reds and browns, as well as the mix of luxurious and man-made materials. Overall, it was a strong and convincing proposal.
