Dear Shaded Viewers,

The motor behind the new magazine Glass is to focus on the intersection between art, music, fashin and design with a strong look at sustainable luxury and artistic integrity. The theme of the first issue is 'Grace'. There is an exclusive feature from Cartier on their latest ethical gem-sourcing initiative as well as other luxury brands including Burberry and Sergio Rossi. You will find interviews with Alber Elbaz, Lillian Bassman and Deborah Tuberville and artist Lance Fung who is defining a unique new brand of integrative and sustainable art. Also in the issue are Yohji Yamamoto and Solve Sundsbo. The legendary ballet critic Clement Crisp defines his list of the greatest living ballerinas as well as a written definition of 'grace'.

The first limited edition issue of Glass is available from Liberty, Selfridges and the new idea Book store at St. Martins Lane HOtel from February and the online magazine is live now. http://www.theglassmagazine.com/ ASVOF readers can contact alyn@theglassmagazine.com for more information.
