Dear Shaded Viewers,
Today I took my friend Roxanne Lowit to Ragtime, my favorite vintage shop in Paris, 23 rue de l'Echaude.75006 Paris. It is just off of Blvd Saint Germain in the 6eme. We were looking for a long black skirt for Roxanne to wear to her book signing in London December 10th at Claridge's. It's always dangerous for me to go there because there is always something calling to me and of course it is never the piece that one can afford. This little treasure is from the early 1900's, delicate and fragile and of course, I had to have it even though it just about equals my rent.
Roxanne Lowit author of 3 books, Moment, People and Back Stage Dior which will be out any day now in Paris and around the planet. Before our visit to Ragtime we went for a tea at Cafe de Flore.
