Dear Shaded Viewers,
I went to the White Mountain region of New Hampshire and visited some hotels.
The Mount Washington Hotel was built in 1900 by industrialist Joseph Stickney and is said to be haunted by his widow Princess Caroline Stickney who hung herself in the hotel elevator. It is also the inspiration for "The Shining".

Nearby Bethlehem was once a thriving Summer resort town in the early 1800's-early 1900's, but many of the huge hotels have mysteriously burnt down leaving beautiful facades.
I always liked the abandoned Baker Brook Motor Inn with its waterfront locale.
If you climb through a broken window you can see the interior.
