We met the Japanese artist group "Chim?Pom"
Yoshi and I went to see the presentation of the Japanese new
generation artist the title 'Japanese Art is 10 Years Behind.'
Their work is SO casual,
It is a totally different movement from the JAPANESE contemporary arts
'SUPER FLAT' which TAKASHI MURAKAMI made.
Chim?Pom when you see it for the first time, it feels like it is not so strong as a concept
or deep as a philosophy but in a way, it makes the lightness
anyway they look like they really enjoy their performance and it is a very strong
action and powerful.
Q What made you get started in to the art field?
A: there wasn't any special reason or moment to start. and none of us are
thinking that we are making art, if people start to think about art ,that
already makes the frame.
