Over the weekend there was an article in the German Daily “Sueddeutsche Zeitung” commenting on the future of fashion and how everyone can be front row at the fashion shows. This season the design duo Viktor & Rolf decided not to do a traditional catwalk show and instead opted for an internet presentation. Is this the future? Maybe it should be. I was interviewed along with the New York Time’s Cathy Horyn and others. Cathy talked about the time she was excluded from the Armani presentation, she laughed as minutes later anyone could access the collection on line. The day that the Viktor and Rolf show went on line I was asked by the photographer, Rachel de Joode and the writer Johannes Thumfart, to join them at the Fumoir so I could watch the show with them on line.
