A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival

Tonight is the launch of The Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival.at the Jeu de Paume, there are no more seats available for tonight but….tomorrow and Sunday at 15h the international selection will screen again. There are no reservations for Saturday and Sunday, it is on a first come first serve basis. Please visit www.asvoff.com or Jeu de Paume for program details. The festival will run until Sunday.

The Cockettes will be screened for he first time in Paris Saturday night at 19h at the Jeu de Paume. The director David Weissman will be present. There are no reservations, this is open to the public and it is on a first come first serve basis, please keep in mind that the theatre capacity is 93 seats.


Clips from the amazing documentary on the Cockettes and the antics of this infamous hairy fairy performance troupe. All yer fave characters make appearances, from Cockettes like Hibiscus, Goldie Glitters, Sylvester and Sweet Pam, to their colorful pals like John Waters, Divine, Jilala, and Holly Woodlawn. The film is directed by David Weissman and Bill Weber.

A Shaded View on Fashion FIlm, the first Fashion Film Festival in Paris, takes place the last 3 days of the Richard Avedon Exhibition at the Jeu de Paume- 26, 27 & 28th September.
